Black zirconia ceramic parts are made by incorporating carbides or nitrides into zirconia ceramic (ZrO2 / zirconium oxide), offering properties such as high strength, high hardness, impact resistance, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. They are commonly used in decorative applications. In industrial applications, however, white zirconia and magnesia zirconia are primarily used, with black zirconia being used to a lesser extent.
