Machinable glass ceramics are both electrical insulators and thermal insulators, the thermal conductivity is very close to zirconia ceramics. They have excellent thermal shock resistance and will not break when cooled repidly from 800℃ to 0℃. The maximum working temperature is 1000℃ under no-load conditions. Its thermal expansion coefficient matches with most metals and sealing glasses. Due to the high strength, machinable glass ceramics never creep or deform in high temperature.
