Zirconia ceramic also has very high hardness, mechanical strength and wear resistance in room temperature and will increase the service life of workpiece greatly.
Because of the close coefficient of thermal expansion to steel, zirconia ceramic parts and steel parts could match well. Compared to alumina ceramic, zirconia ceramic has more delicate texture, after grinding and processing, the surface finish will be very smooth and even a mirror effect can be achieved, will reduce the friction as well.
Zirconia ceramic is widely applied for structural ceramic parts or wear resistant parts make ceramic valve components, ceramic utility blades, ceramic grinding media, ceramic pump plungers, ceramic bearings and so on.
